Barrel Selection Pinot noir 2008
This wine shows all the expected characteristics of a premium Central Otago Pinot noir, although interestingly, 2008 was the most "Burgundian" vintage we have experienced. Colour is a rich plummy red, and flavour comprises plums, cherries, and berries, with a background of liquorice, mushrooms and spice. The silky, velvety tannins complete the experience of this stunning wine.
Silver, Bragato 2009; Silver, NZIWS 2009; Silver, Air NZ 2009; Silver, Royal Easter Show Wine Awards, 2010; Pure Silver, Bragato 2010; Gold, NZIWS 2010

Goldfields Pinot noir 2008
This wine shows the characteristics of its big brother (above) with the exception that colour and flavour density (mid-palate) are slightly reduced.
Silver, Bragato 2009; Silver, NZIWS 2009; Silver, Air NZ 2009; Silver, NZIWS 2010; Pure Silver, Air NZ 2010

Goldfields “Cathy’s” Rosé 2010
Named after Catherine, this wine produced from 100% Pinot noir fruit exhibits vibrant flavours of berries, particularly strawberries and raspberries, with a well developed mid-palate and clean finish.
Goldfields Dry Riesling 2009
Here Crawford’s “play grapes” get transformed into a Riesling wine made in the style of about 200 years ago.Effectively, the wine has never seen stainless steel, instead being barrel fermented and barrel aged on the lees. A dry steely wine is the result – luscious!
